I doubt it. They only test the game for bugs and rating. Nothing else hehe. If you make the game, then yes, YOU MAKE A LOT!!!

I’m 18 and i love to play video games. I was just wondering what are the requirements and is it fun and also how much do they get paid?

You get paid little, the requirements are generally relevant experience. Its not an easy field to break into, and testing video games is not everything its cracked up to be. You don’t get to play, you’re just trying the same thing over and over.

I want to become a video game tester and I am really interested in it. I also want to pursue a video game career as a video game designer, but I first want to become a video game tester to have experience to first step foot into my career. Using Game testing to see if you want a career as a game designer before spending the cash for the degree is the right way to go about it. You build the experience you need to land a game design position. It is good to know what working in the industry is like too.

to be a game tester, no degree is needed but having a class is helpful.

so, get some training, build out a killer resume, cover letter, etc.
Get it reviewed by someone who preferably hires game testers
submit it to all the jobs on the jobs website…
Keep perfecting and refining until you get the position.
To increase your chances of getting a career game testing position…
Become familiar with what game testing is, terminology, etc and use the terminology to build out a good cover letter and resume.
Get some good experience and be able to talk about what you did in with the knowledge and terminology you have learned about Game Testing.
