Job engineering easier, good pay, low stress?

I currently work in engineering, software tester, however, I found the work too stressful. What type of engineering work, software is not as stressful as my current job? or should I leave my current job and return to the school to be simple and practical programming on the side. As of now my current interest is to create games, web applications, but the current work schedule does not allow me exercise my skills.

Writing software is nothing like work to do in your spare time. I've never been a tester, but I had to venture a guess and say the engineering is more stressful. Take your position and imagine as part of an assembly line. You are in charge and waiting for people on the left to finish his approach to you can do yours. People are waiting on your right. The person left is the engineer, everyone expects it to complete its work.
