Game Tester Love
How could I go on the application as a game tester?
I love video games and I want to play and I always wondered how I was going to get a beta tester work games. Where do I have to go? Do I go through Internet or through a company or what? Any help =] And please do not tell me it's not a real job or is a stupid idea. I know that it is unlikely, but I would try yet. I'm not just looking at Google, because to a large number of links listed are scams.
Short answer – or try monster.com workopolis.com, or visit the websites of the games. On a side note – Did you do the experiment? Do you have a degree in computer science? Any certifications? I see a post every two or three days in search of employment testing new games. Believe me, this is not as much fun as it sounds. The test is very different from playing the game you have to build a test specification for testing, often several times. Very little "game" when it comes to the test.
