Do video game testers get drug tested?
To put it simply, I love video games, and i love smoking pot. I want to be a video game tester…and maybe more later. Do they get drug tests?
Might as well figure it out now so i don’t get fired before i’m hired

They might test you, but even if they do I don’t think they’d care about pot. A lot of the time when they test you and the job doesn’t require driving or operating heavy equipment they don’t even care. A lot of the drug test is to make sure you’re not a meth freak.
Plus, anyone with a brain knows video games and pot go hand in hand 
You should look in to buying a whizanator. I think it’s like 40 bucks with synthetic urine. And it works ^.^ My boyfriend used it to get his job

What video game companies will hire a 14 yr old as a video game tester?
I would like to be a video game tester but I heard you have to be 16 or older to be a professional video game tester but I want to give it a shot and see what happens so do you know any companies that I should try to see if they will hire me?

None really. There are too many child labor laws and game testing, let alone video games in general, is addicting. At that age they advise you to focus more on your education. It’s easier to just wait until you’re 16 and work for Gamestop or something. At least that way you get a discount and first dibs lol.

How do I become a video game tester?
I love video games, and I mean it I can spend hours on end play video games, heck I could play video games for a week straight if it wasn’t for sleep. Now I want to take my passion a step forward and be a video game tester, but have no clue how I can. I am have a EA company building near my house and was wondering if I should ask them. Anybody have any clues where I can do this?

Game Testing is a horrible, horrible job that you don’t want to do. Its not as glorious as it sounds, you’ll spend hours upon hours, if not days upon days replaying the same thing just to make sure all the bugs and glitches are out. Do yourself a favor and don’t.
If you choose to go through with it, look for ads in the paper. EA might be recruiting people.

I’ve always wanted to test video games and get paid for it. But everyone time I try and research a method to do so, i get those funky scam sites. Does anyone have any legit information on how to become a video game tester.
I’m 16 and a sophomore in highschool if that helps.

I love games, and if i needed play on them 24-7. I have tries to locate it online but have always run into paysites. Send us money and we will show you how to become a video game tester, lol, like i want to send money to someone, i just want to get paid for my fun, lol.

They are hard to come by because everyone wants to be a game tester and play the latest games and pre release games, plus just playing video gamesdoesn’tt qualify you to be a tester, you have to know how to find bugs and report them and log them. There is a lot more than just playing them, but try activision or ea games website, i would not pay for information that is not at all going to give you a job, but just a possible lead, fishy.
